Become a member of the Kearny County Historical Society!
Our humble beginnings . . .
On November 26, 1957, a number of persons interested in preserving our local history met and established the Kearny County Historical Society. The main goal of those 16 charter members was to gather documents, photographs, and biographical sketches from early settlers in order to produce a written copy of Kearny County’s history. Sixty-three years later, we not only have one but two volumes of the “History of Kearny County” and a museum complex brimming with interesting artifacts. You can help us in our mission to preserve, educate and cultivate a love of history. Become a lifetime member for only $20!
To become a Member you can use our simple Mail-In Form or stop by the museum during normal business hours. Thanks for your support! E-mail us at kchs@pld.com for more information.
